Our "new" red couch is no longer new. It is in fact very well used. The chinchilla "bubba" is long gone (hopefully not dead), and our child no longer looks like a worried old man.
Tomorrow we'll take Anders out for breakfast and get him ice cream. He'll open the box from Grandma J. and have a tantrum because even though it's his birthday we won't be going to Travel Town until Sunday. And explaining that will be next to impossible.

It's fun to think back to those life altering first days of being parents. It really puts everything into perspective!

Chinchilla? Willow
I remember that day, too, as we were still in the hospital with Amelia when you had Anders. Crazy times. Oh, and, yes, I read your blog, too. I just never got around to commenting on that post. Happy Birthday Anders! He's always been Amelia's favorite person to sing Happy Birthday to.
Oh my goodness, I hadn't ever seen the photos of Anders so wee!
Hooray for that little trooper and his fantastic parents. Have fun celebrating :)
So far we haven't had any true tantrums! Yaayy! =0)
Yes, that was a fun week for us too!
I remember that day, too. Anders was born on Uncle Kirk's birthday. We just got home from having dinner at P.J's Abbey in Orange to celebrate tonight. I had forgotten how tiny Anders was! I remember his wrinkled knees.
