Today is a lovely cloudy, rainy day with a little thunder. I love these rare days! I always think that the plants and trees look greener on cloudy days. So naturally I had to do a sunflower update as well as post a picture of my favorite plant that thrives on tons of water. I love it because all I have to do is dump a pitcher of water on it if it's looking a little sad and KA POW! Beautiful.

Those sunflowers are coming along! Remember the ones in the Taylor's backyard at Philip & Abby's wedding? They were 8-10 feet tall!
Once they start growing taller with a flower head, put a net over the heads to keep the birds off of them.
