Little One

I finally broke down and announced on Facebook that we are expecting #2 this coming November! It was a hard secret to keep and I didn't quite make it to 12 weeks before announcing but I did make it to 9 weeks which was hard enough.
So far everything is going well besides feeling nauseous. We got to see our little bean a couple of weeks ago and the best part was seeing the very strong heartbeat! That made me very happy.
So, life marches on and we are so excited to meet this sweet little one.

Easter Sunday

The day started with a very successful easter egg hunt in our backyard. 

Our neighbors in the front house were so sweet and let Anders hunt with them. They even made him  a little  treat basket!

10 year old clara is great with Anders too. They have a game where he is "car boy" and she is evil "ice girl".

After church we had yet another egg hunt, we drove out to La Habra for Easter at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Abby was fantastic with Anders and kept him entertained. He's the only grandkid in the area so it's fun to have someone willing to play with him!

All tuckered out after finding all his loot. He found his second wind pretty quickly....

A little of everything

Lately Anders has been having trouble sleeping because of  "bad dreams" or overactive imagination as I like to call it. So the remedy has been for him to sleep with his light saber and lately he's been sleeping with some light sticks that Grandma J. sent in his Easter box.

Last week I took some great pictures of Anders to big jumps onto the couch.

Recently we went to a local restaurant to celebrate a friends birthday and then afterwards had fun walking around the pleasant outside play area.

This past Monday we spent some time with my friend Denise and her son Gus and their baby Mae. Gus and Anders always take a while to warm up to each other but they always end up having fun together.

Today my Mother-in-law sent me this lovely Spring bouquet in celebration of Easter. It's so nice having fresh flowers around the house!

Around the house today

We had fun making cookies this afternoon. Anders loved rolling the dough out and putting the sprinkles on. 

My sister Erin sent Me, my Mom and other sister Heidi these adorable little birds and the nest. They are just too Springy and cute!

Naptime

Today we spent the morning at the park with friend. It was 76 and sunny outside and Anders played like crazy. This nap is probably much needed but it also means that I'll have an active boy on my hands at 9:00 tonight!

Last Day Of March=Beach Trip!

Yesterday was in the 90's and it felt just like the middle of summer. So, we skipped pre-school and headed to the beach! Enjoy the pictures!

At one point Anders swallowed some salt water and it make him "spit up" a little. When I asked him what happened he said that he had gotten "sea sick". 

I'm looking forward to more of these days in the months ahead!
