I had to shamelessly plug a product that I have fallen in love with. I know that the 4 readers of this blog will find this very useful..... well if you have really dry skin and need a lotion that will give a fabulous sheen without being greasy then you will find this useful.
This product is marketed to a mostly African American base, but I love it! My elbows were pretty dry and no matter what I put on them either it wouldn't go away or the dryness would be back the next day. Ambi is an olive oil, shea butter base and the scent reminds me of a Jafra product that my mom used to use. It's clean and slightly lemony smelling. The absorption is quick but you will feel the moisture all day.
As a side note, I won't review a product unless I have used at least more than half the bottle and really know if it works or not. This one is a major favorite!

Where can you buy this stuff? My legs are so dry and my feet too!
BTW, I hope you don't think I am a freak but I am now following your blog! If you think it's strange let me know and I will stop!
Hi Cristen, thanks for following my blog! =0) I have a few that I follow as well.
I got the lotion at CVS but I think you can get it on Drugstore.com as well.
It is seriously a great lotion!
I am ALWAYS looking for a good lotion. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks, Gretchen. My hands get so dry that they crack and bleed during the winter (in Ukraine, that is). So I'm always desperate for a good lotion.
Hi,I found you while stalking the comments on the Pioneer Woman. Having just foun out WHAT a blog was last month, that's what I've come to do....sad,yes,sad, BUT I did have to stop by & tell you I got a sample in the mail of their shampoo.I'm "older" & have colored (wash the grey out type) hair,so my hair NEEDS conditioner, well I used this shampoo & my freshly colored hair did NOT need a conditioner..thank God because I was out,but it's great stuff! Now I can't wait to try the lotion. Thanks,I enjoyed your blog very much! Linda
Linda, I'm interested to try their shampoo! It sounds pretty good.
Glad you found my blog! I love Pioneer Women's blog. =0)
I actually use their face moisturizer ... the first I've found that really works on my oily skin. It was recommended to me by my dermatologist. Perhaps I'll have to try their regular lotion next. I agree ... great product!
Heidi, I'll have to try the face moisturizer when I run out of my current stuff! Glad for the tip!
